Actor-producer Vishal has asserted that there is nothing more than ‘close professional friendship’ between him and Lakshmi Menon. Vishal and Lakshmi Menon paired up opposite each other for the first time in Vishal’s first home production Pandiya Nadu which released late last year and turned out to be a success.
Vishal then announced his second production in Naan Sigappu Manithan and said he has repeated Lakshmi as the heroine. The film’s shoot has been wrapped up and the film is scheduled to release shortly. Reports in the press spoke of a sizzling ‘chemistry’ between the lanky Vishal and the equally lanky Lakshmi.
Vishal has responded to the rumours saying that he shared a ‘warm and friendly’ relationship with Lakshmi. “There is nothing more and nothing less,” he said and added that the relationship is purely professional.
It may be noted that the ‘homely’ Lakshmi Menon has featured in a sizzling under-water lip-lock with Vishal in a sequence in Naan Sigappu Manithan!
